Jerod

Supporting Fitness Instructor

Hi, my name is Coach Jerod. I am from the small state of North Dakota and have moved frequently with the Army but have found my forever home in Kentucky. I am married to an amazing wife, Lindsay. I am a father to three energetic kids: Jaxen (6), Braxtyn (2), and Lenyx (1). So i have my hands full with my kids and work for sure.

I have always had a passion for health and fitness starting with my 25 year career in the Army. My passion for health and fitness increased with me jumping on stage in bodybuilding in 2012. Since then I have competed in 12 shows to include 4 National Shows and have plans to compete soon. Through the Army and bodybuilding, it has led me to work with individuals to help them meet their goals.
I am so excited to work as one of Kevin’s assistant coaches and get to cheer you on along your fitness journey!

Jack

Supporting Fitness Instructor

Hi! My name is Jack, and I’m an IFBB pro competitor. I compete in both Classic Physique and Men’s Physique, ultimately earning my pro card in Men’s Physique in December 2022 at the Amateur Olympia.

I have a huge passion for helping other people with their fitness goals, whatever they may be. Not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder, and not everyone should be if that is not an interest. And if it is, that’s great too. The biggest fulfillment when it comes to coaching others is watching them succeed, build self confidence, and to achieve physical and mental goals they never thought they would be able to achieve. A lot of times we all have the capability to do these things, but sometimes we need a little push from other people. There’s a reason most coaches have coaches, and that’s because we are all human, we all have our own personal biases, and sometimes it’s nice to just be able to execute a plan that is catered to our specific goals and needs!

I got into the world of fitness and weight training due to growing up playing sports. What really set off my bodybuilding journey was ultimately from being at a low point in my young life at the time, suffering from injury after injury. I had worked so hard at my craft playing sports, had been a stand out athlete, and repeatedly got knocked off the radar due to an injury. At the time, that was my world, being a young kid in High School. I had kind of hid away in a shell for a while, wasn’t happy, didn’t feel like I belonged to anything, so eventually I found myself back in the gym on crutches, in my element, just focusing on me and doing whatever I could to scratch that competitive itch of mine.

Bodybuilding was never the goal, the goal was to just lift weights, build a physique I was proud of, and everything else had fallen into place. Eventually I got into personal training and coaching, helping people lose weight, build muscle, build self confidence and positivity, learn how to be proud of themselves and comfortable in their own skin regardless of how they looked.

Here I am now, as an assistant coach with Iron Sanctuary for my good friend Kevin! I love being a part of this community and team, and proud and honored to assist you all in your journeys.

Jess

Supporting Fitness Instructor

I have been passionate about fitness my entire life. I grew up playing sports and going to the gym in order to improve my performance. After playing soccer throughout college, I needed a new challenge and found bodybuilding. Since discovering the sport, my love and knowledge of health and fitness has grown immensely, as has my desire to help others. I have struggled with mental health in the past and have found that caring for my body has been the best way to help care for my mind. My goal is to help others enjoy their life by improving mental and physical health.
